The Ferals Cough up Hair Balls of Truth with their favorite conspiracy theorist Vinnie Grow Up America.  Stop talking in cliches and weasel phrases.  I’m asking my fellow feral cats to write to radio stations and tell them to stop spouting garbage like NPR’s Christopher Joyce talking health care and repeating the mind numbing phrase “don’t let the perfect, be the enemy of the good”.  Can we get some cap and trade fines for our numbnuts no ‘nads weiners every time they say things like:

“It’s not politically feasible”.  “It’s off the table”.  “What we have is a perfect storm.”

What’s Gone Wrong?  Stephen Zarlenga asks in his book “The Lost Science of Money”.  Well, it seems that if a nation and its people don’t control the money, they can pretend all they like that they are free, but they really aren’t.  When the people control their money, they decide what to do with it.  Will it be used to build and repair vital human infrastructure like our health care and our schools or will it go for warfare and real estate loans and banksters pockets? His book shows us how we allowed 1% of the population to own 50% of the wealth and receive 70% of the income.  Get the book at monetary.org.

Join Di and Dave, the Feral Cats of Freedom as they cough up hairballs of truth with Zarlenga of the American Monetary Institute.  Learn about money, morality and much much more on this alternative to the Fat Cat News.

Democracy's Edge Explores the Congo It turns out our cell phones are not only killing conversation, but they are killing people in the Congo.  A World War III has been going on there since the 1990's.  Why don't Americans know anything about what is going on there and why?  To help Diane and Dave understand why what is happening in the Congo is vital to regular Americans and people everywhere, Maurice Carney joins them on Democracy's Edge talk radio.

Maurice Carney is a co-founder and Executive Director of Friends of the Congo.  He is an independent entrepreneur and human rights activist who has fought with Congolese for over a decade in their struggle for human dignity and control of their country.

The Congo is the heart of Africa with enough good farm land to feed the entire world and a rain forest to keep the earth from warming.  It also has a metal found in cell phones, Play Stations, computers, missile guiding systems and more.   Discover why we must save the Congo from the corporate plunderers.  It is the canary in the mine.  Our lives depend on knowing more.

Democracy's Edge Talks About Africa and AFRICOM with Gerald LeMelle Gerald Le Melle holds a J.D. from Georgetown University.  He lived in Africa for ten years and now is the Executive Director of Africa Action having previously worked for Amnesty International USA.  Hosts Dave and Diane have a lot of questions about what's going on with this new part of the U.S. military called AFRICOM.  Is this the way to resolve conflicts in countries in Africa? Do Africans want our help? Is the United States of Africa a good idea?  What has Africa got that we want?  Lots.  If we paid African farmers a fair price for their crops like cocoa for all the chocolate we consume, would they be able to get out of poverty?  A great free wheeling discussion, if I do say so myself.
